Camus: Quote of the day

"I had lived my life one way and I could just as well lived it another. I had done this and I hadn't done that. I hadn't done this thing and I had done another. And so?... Nothing, nothing mattered, and I knew why."

-Albert Camus, The Stranger

  1. "..and I knew why." Why? What did he know?

    1. Because life is absurd. If something matters or doesn't matter that in itself doesn't matter because there is no meaning in something mattering. whatever way you live life, whatever you do, the quote would apply. That is absurd
